Eco-Friendly Products refers to the farm produce cultivated with no or minimum chemicals including synthetic agricultural chemicals, chemical fertilizer, antibiotics/antibacterial, etc. to conserve the environment and supply comparably safer products to consumers.

New eco-friendly produce certification mark was developed in a bright mark that can represent the healthiness for housewives as targets who are the main customers for eco-friendly produces.
Meanings of Eco-Friendly Produce Certification Mark
The layered circles mean the harmony of human and nature; the blue on the left circle represents consumers, and the green on the right circle represents the producers, the leaf-shaped light green on the top represents nature, the layered white background represents the seeds – the chamber of life – and the overall shape represents the produces cultivated with eco-friendly farming method on the healthy land, the base of our life.
Standards
Cultivation without using organic synthetic agricultural chemicals and chemical fertilizers (Transfer period: 3 Years for perennial crops, and 2 years for others.)
Organic synthetic agricultural chemicals shall never be used, and only up to 1/3 of the recommended amount of chemical fertilizers may be used.
Under 1/2 of the recommended amount of chemical fertilizers may be used.
The number of times of crop dusting is under 1/2 of ‘Guidelines on the safe use of pesticides.
The usage period shall be 2 times more than the safe usage period. Herbicides must not be used.
Remaining agricultural chemicals: Under 1/2 of permitted amount of residue notified by the Minister of Food and Drug Safety
